Telecommunications

Initiated by Hank Bull and developed in the last months in collaboration with Su Schnee and JR Carpenter, with the support of other artists during the events, this project is a multisite performative event that takes shape and meaning by interaction and addition of images as well as sounds received by the artists linked together from the different sites. The project uses simple telecommunications processes such as the phone and the videophone and is made of images, live music, song and performance, as well as pre-recorded audio and video material. Distanz creates an interactive context by negotiating time and distance.
