Maria Ezcurra From North to South, Birds are Neotropical Migrants

OBORO invites families to a creative workshop around the themes in Maria Ezcurra’s exhibition, Neotropical Migrants and Others.
Participants will be able to create birds of all kinds using recycled materials, and will assemble them to create a mobile. We invite you to bring recycled paper and cardboard to construct the birds and branches to build your mobile. Led by the artist, the workshop will take place at OBORO, on Saturday, September 25, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
If you are interested in participating, please register before September 23 at 4:00 pm, at projets@oboro.net. The number of participants is limited to 8 people, adults and kids included.

Maria Ezcurra is an Argentinean-Mexican-Canadian artist and educator. Recipient of the 2019 Prix de la diversité en arts visuels by the Conseil des arts de Montréal, Maria has participated in numerous exhibits worldwide, including at the Museum of Modern Art in Mexico City, the Carl Freedman Gallery in the United Kingdom, the Nuit Blanche in Toronto, the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and La Centrale galerie Powerhouse. She has taught art in a number of universities and organizations in Mexico and Canada over the past twenty years.
