Conference with Claudia Hart

Claudia Hart is an artist, curator and writer currently living and working in Berlin. After receiving a B.A. in Art History from New York University and a Master’s in Architecture from Columbia University, she worked as an architectural critic and editor of ID Magazine and later joined the editorial staff of Artforum. Hart has also published in Flash International, World Art and art press. Her art projects, which take up the form of paintings, videos, artists’ books and photographs, have been presented throughout Europe and in her native United States.

During her artist talk, Hart will discuss her recent work informed by, and critical of, the assumptions of Neoconceptual art and the art system that supports it.
