Charles Guilbert Serge Murphy Au verso du monde
OBORO
Special Viewing on Wednesday, May 4, at 9 pm
Charles Guilbert and Serge Murphy’s latest collaboration will be a videographic quilt composed of a series of short scenes, fragments of music, and off-screen voices stating contradictory truths. Balanced between the realistic and oneiric, the serious and ironic, this video will present the story of a girl and boy who are exasperated of living in a society that is stuck. Undermined by their own incertitude, they are unable to decide what direction they themselves should take. These two friends, who are enraged at not knowing how to rage, and exasperated of being exasperated, continuously confront dailylife, attempting to surpass it in order to reach the flip of the world.
