Éveline Le Calvez describes Autel (Altar) as an interactive multimedia installation – a “body and light poem.” The device incorporates projected digital images, a soundtrack and lighting which plays on transparency and opacity. A screen projects images of hands caressing sand. The interactor is invited to mimic the gestures on a surface equipped with sensors, thus triggering images, sounds and light variations.
