Juan Jose Díaz Infante

Transdisciplinary artist and curator, Juan Jose Díaz Infante is a communications and technology consultant for several companies, institutions and governments. In 1997 and 2000, he worked for IFE, Electoral Institute, to conceptualize the country's first democratic elections in 60 years. In 2008, he worked for Tata Consulting, transistioning to Open Source Software for the IMSS, Mexican Social Security Institute (the largest client of microsoft in Latin America). In 2008 and 2009, he worked for the Secretary of Culture DF, consulting for 70 art collectives in a pilot to generate cultural enterprises. He has published 26 books and nine art videos. Chief curator of Transitiomx03, founder and director of Play Festival and of the International Encounter of Art and Science ECAM, he has been working on the conception of ART BY Gallery, a virtual and physical gallery dedicated to technology. His personal works includes visual poetry, video, photography, performance, installation, music and digital art, and have been shown in major museums and galleries.
