Manuela Lalic

Manuela Lalic is of French-Serbian origins. She has lived and worked in Montreal since 1997. Her work has been presented in Canada, the United States, Europe, Asia and Africa. Her artistic inclinations have led her to do several international residencies, notably in New York (residency of the Canada Council for the Arts-International Studio and Curatorial Program, 2009), in Rajasthan, India (Sandarbh Artist Residency, 2013/2014) and in Yaoundé, Cameroon (short residency at the 2016 Ravy Biennale). She received the 2009 Pratt and Whitney Scholarship from the Montreal Arts Council and was a finalist for the 2012 and 2014 Powerhouse Awards. Since 2015, Manuela Lalic has been a lecturer at UQAM's School of Visual and Media Arts.
