OBORO
I’m a visual artist. I’m interested in the way things look and in their mode of appearance. These things can be objects, materials, images, sounds, gestures, words, spaces, or rhythmic flows. I articulate the mixture of these various things to account for the visual complexity of the real and for the perceptual enthusiasm that one might feel living and acting within it, where the infra, the ultra, the hyper and the almost nothing are paradoxically close.
For Substance verte I brought together a cinematographer (Geoffroy Beauchemin), a composer/sound engineer (Stéphane Claude), a writer (Chantal Neveu) and a choreographer (Dominique Porte) around the visual and digital specificity of the appearance/disappearance of the colour digital green/M3060-00.
