Following a research period completed with support from OBORO and presented during the International Puppet Theater Festival Les Trois Jours de Casteliers, 2boys.tv offer an excerpt of the performance Tightrope. This research includes the use of video projection in concert with the handling of objects, shadow theatre and the electronic manipulation of the human voice. Thematically, Tightrope is an exploration of the human voice, memory and loss. This performance carries elements that have become a recognizable 2boys.tv cosmology, including drag, multilingualism, transformation and an oscillation between the absurd and the familiar.
