Call for proposals

OBORO welcomes original projects that promote critical thinking and artistic practices. We accept proposals from artists, artist collectives, independent curators and organisations who are looking to present exhibits, and events as well as to produce publications or do a residency.

The programming committee takes into account notions of artistic relevance and excellence, the Montreal context, equity and diversity as well as budgetary aspects. Before sending a proposal, please consult our web site attentively to get a better understanding of the activities we have programmed over the past years. In the case of projects involving considerable technical means, please contact us first in order to determine the availability of resources. OBORO pays artist's rights and fees in accordance with standards set by representative organizations and bodies responsible for collecting royalties.
