Pascal Dufaux Substance verte

As a visual artist, I’m interested in the way things look and in their mode of appearance. These things can be objects, materials, images, sounds, gestures, words, spaces, or rhythmic flows. I want to account for the visual complexity of the “real” and for the perceptual enthusiasm that one might feel acting within it, where the infra, the ultra, the hyper and the almost nothing are paradoxically close.
For Substance verte I brought together cinema- tographer Geoffroy Beauchemin, composer/sound engineer Stéphane Claude, writer Chantal Neveu and choreographer Dominique Porte around the visual and digital specificity of the appearance/ disappearance of the colour digital green/M3060-00.
