Rickie Lea Owens Animation Beyond Zebra

This workshop is an introduction to how traditional animation techniques can be interfaced with real world controls using the software PureData. Participants will produce a collection of animated clips to be used in an animation mixer created during the workshop. Subjects covered in the course include: Techniques for traditional animation production, economical animation, shooting and editing your animation, introduction to the Pd programming environment and its video processing abilities. The last day will be a collaborative affair with the Electronics 101 workshop.
