Arthur Renwick proposes to discuss his own work as well as those of artists investigating cultural identities. Influences and quests for self-determination will be addressed with the intent of revealing the layers of different and varying backgrounds which feed an artist's work.

Arthur Renwick is an artist from British Columbia and is currently working as a Curatorial Intern at The Power Plant in Toronto. His work has been shown in group exhibitions such as Social Studies/Still Lives, in Le Mois de la Photo à Montréal; Contemporary Camera, at the Red Head Gallery in Toronto; and Multiplicity: A New Cultural Strategy, at the UBC Museum of Anthropology in Vancouver. He is presently completing his M.F.A. degree in Photography at Concordia University.
