France Jobin, 2011
Immerson 3 continues its exploration of new perceptions and experiences of the listening process by introducing another dynamic: improvisation. The artists will unveil a range of approaches while respecting the principals of immersion within a minimalist aesthetic.
Immerson 3 is a concert event/philosophy initiated by France Jobin, who proposes to create an enhanced listening environment by focusing on the physical comfort of the audience through a space specifically designed for that purpose.
In the spirit of sharing this experience with younger audiences, Immerson introduces a 3-part workshop uniquely designed for children ages 7 to 9:
- Sound Art Workshop: live audio creation with France Jobin, illustrating on the story of The Three Little Pigs.
- Snack with parents.
Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 10 am. Free; reservations required (514-844-3250).
Immerson wishes to thank OBORO, the Suoni Per Il Popolo festival and the Austrian Embassy Ottawa.
