OBORO invites you to a panel discussion featuring the artists of the exhibition Le jaguar et l'oiseau écarlate, curated by Rodrigo D’Alcântara, followed by a guided tour of the exhibition.
Presented in Montréal, this panel brings together the participating artists to discuss their practices, the narratives and symbols that inform their works, as well as the cultural, historical, and territorial perspectives that shape the exhibition. The conversation will explore themes of memory, transformation, identity, and the ways animal imagery contributes to the creation of contemporary narratives.
The panel will be followed by a guided tour of the exhibition with the artists and curator, offering the public an opportunity to further engage with the works and practices brought together in Le jaguar et l'oiseau écarlate.
Free admission, everyone is welcome. First come, first served — seating is limited. The panel and tour will take place in French and English, and all questions are welcome and can be translated as needed.
