This new, highly charged site-specific drawing installation incorporates the experiences of a recent sojourn in Taiwan. The multitude of images that Ed Pien gives his ghosts serve as metaphors for the fears and vulnerabilities populating our lives. The gallery space, transformed for the occasion, will shelter fantastic phantoms of all shapes and forms.

Active since 1982, Edward Pien has been working principally in drawing since the early 90’s. Born in Taiwan, Pien spent his childhood in London, Ontario, studied in Toronto and has been living in Vancouver since 1991. His work has been shown in numerous exhibitions throughout Canada.
