Spin-o-rama, a hockey manoeuvre that permits a player to move forward by rotating sideways past the defenceman, can be used to describe my non-linear approach to making art as well as the tornado imagery I return to again and again. This exhibition groups recent and earlier weather paintings with quotes from diverse sources, inviting reflection on the ominous yet sensuous power of nature, and on the searching and singularity of focus which drive many forward through art and through life.
