OBORO

Quick Time VR Residency

The residency program proposed by Oboro was dedicated to the creation, production, and dissemination of artistic projects using QuickTime VR. The only artist-run centre in Montreal to have cultivated an expertise with this technology, Oboro has pre-selected artists to come and work with the already established community of specially trained technologists and artists in the centre.

The invited artists – Valérie Walker, Archer Pechawis, Christine Stewart and André Clément – were encouraged to examine notions of links, networks and community, and their relationship with the body, mind and identity.
